Day 1 of the above competition got off to a great start for club athletes today when Catherine Mc Manus won the 100m hurdles, she later went on to qualify for the 100m final tomorrow. Steffi Creaner qualified for the final of the 200m. Club star of the day was Niamh Donnelly who knocked almost 8 secs off her 1500m best running 4mins.34secs and getting 2nd place. What a run and thoroughly deserved. Sinead Cronin ran 5mins 11 and was severely under the weather with a heavy cold. Well done to all.
