Dublin Indoors day 3

The third and final hectic day of comeptitions got underway at 10am with the 200m heats. Caoimhe Lynam continued her good form and qualifed for the under 19 girls final where she finished 2nd later on in the day. Next up were all our little ones in th 500/600m races, some with track experience outdoor and some first timers. All enjoyed the experience with good runs in particular from Niamh Bergin, Niamh O Connor, Lia Butler Lynch and Finn mc Auley. Caolan Collins made the 600m under 13 final and finished 4th. Kacey had an extra lap added in error to her 800m heat and she made the final along with Clare O’C0nnor, Clare Murphy had a great race in the final of the under 15 girls 800m and got her first individual Dublin medal finishing 3rd,  Sara Byrne ran really well in her 800m final and finished 4th, Dora battled all the way over the last lap and also finished 4th in her 800m final with Emily Murphy not far behind. Daire Finn easily added 800m gold to his 1500m gold the day before. Our sole hurdler Alison Burke saved her best till last and she won the under 18 sprint hurdles in fine style.

Thank you to all the parents who supported over the weekend, definitely beats being up in Tallaght or Santry in the snow.
