Last weekend some of our older athletes were in action in Athlone at the National InterVarsity championships. Catherine Mc Manus had a busy day in her last indoor competition for DCU. She started off with a win in the 400m heat with a big PB of 55.57 followed by a win in her heat and final of the 60m hurdles. Later on she ran the fastest time in the final of the 400m to get top points for DCU. Clare Brennan was also racing for the last time for DCU in the 1500m and she ran very well with Cliona Murphy also competing strongly for Trinity college in the same race. Well done girls!
