Well done to Max won the shot putt under 15 at Day 1 of the Dublin indoors, first time over the 11m mark. A lot of hard work put in over the winter by Max and great support from his Dad.
Íde had her first outing in the walking race under 14 and was very impressive as she powered around the 1k race to win her first Dublin medal.
Earlier in the day the 200m heats were held. Pearl finished 7th overall, Sean ran his first 200 very good run 9th overall, Freya and Maisy ran well even though 200 is a bit short for both of them.
Martha had a solid run in her heat and ran faster in her final just missing out on a bronze medal.
Great to see our two under 15s Rion and Ellen make the final of their race finishing 5th and 7th.
Martha had a straight final and the finish was very close, so close that 2nd place couldn’t be separated so joint 2nd place for Martha. Well done to all .
