Well done to Craig who ran a pb and made the final of the National junior 200m in Athlone yesterday. Sara Byrne had her first race in a long time over 800m and Conor Murphy was just outside his pb in the junior 1500m. Well done all!

Last Thursday night we had a small group competing at the NIA live event in Abbottstown. Aoife Corr, Keelin Collins and Edel were very happy with their 800m races. Keelin improved by 4 seconds on her Dublin indoor time and was particularly pleased. Conor Murphy had a great run in his mile race where he finished 2nd. Well done to Nina who was 4th finisher for castleknock community school team in the junior race at the all Ireland schools in Belfast today. The team finished 4th overall.

Best of luck to the group going to Athlone tomorrow for the National junior and under 23 indoors. Boil water notice in Athlone so bring your own drinks.

Well done to senior sprinter Catherine one being named on the Irish team for the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade next week. Catherine will be going as a member of the women’s 4x400m relay team and it will be her second senior international vest so far this year!

Well done to Celine who finished 2nd today in the inter varsity cross country championship in Trinity grounds today. Celine also led her Trinity college team to first place. Edel Monaghan finished 7th and Silje was 10th. Silje was on the UCD team which finished 3rd.

Pierre finished 10th in the men’s race and led the Trinity team to 4th place. Nadia was on the winning DCU team in the mixed relay and Sara was on the Trinity relay team which finished 3rd. Well done to everyone.
