Busy weekend!

We had fingers in a few pies this weekend with a lot of very busy CelticDCH athletes and friends doing their bit! On Friday and Saturday we had athletes representing their colleges in Carlow at the inter varsity track and field championship. Well done to Celine, Edel and Sarah. Craig was competing but got an injury and had to pull up in his 200m.

Very early on Saturday we had our loyal helpers out stewarding for the great Ireland run in the Phoenix park. Thank you so much for doing the various junctions on the course, the water stations, baggage area, registration, medals and start / finish area and for the efficient clean up after. Many hands certainly make light work!!

Meanwhile our future stars were up at Tallaght track competing in the first outdoor competition of the year. Thank you to Sarah, Hilary, Catherine. Loretta and Emer for looking after the gang. All the children enjoyed the experience and we should get the results update by the weekend.
