Most of our secondary school athletes were representing their various schools at the Leinster qualifiers in the Phoenix park this week. We don’t have all the results but we had a few notable performances. Best individual performance of the week was 2nd place by Goda in the north Leinster junior race, Christopher had a terrific run in the senior boys finishing 7th. Best team performance for our girls was Aimee, Erin and Aoibhinn who were the scoring three from st Dominic’s and came 2nd in the minor girls race. Clare , Aisling and Eva were very impressive coming 3rd team in the senior race.

In the east Leinster races Aoibhinn was on the Loreta team which won the minor girls and Nina was on the winning Castleknock community school junior team in the West Leinster event. Others who qualified for Leinsters are Joe Fogarty and Cliodhna Ryan . Well done to all of you and best of luck in two weeks in Santry.
