Results update

Round 3 of the Dublin juvenile championship were held in Tallaght on Friday night and we had 9 young athletes in action. First off were the six heats of the 200m under 14 and we had one athlete in every heat! Aimee Ryan won her heat and automatically made the final. Goda was just pipped into 2nd place in her heat and narrowly missed a place in the final. Jocelyn , Bianca , Erin and Aoibhinn all ran really well in very competitive heats. Aimee came back later for her final and finished 4th when the first 5 almost crossed the line together. Great race! George, Hugh and Bruce all fought hard in the 600 m heats for boys under 13. Great to see competition again, it been such a long time since the last races and although there are still hugely restricted hopefully we get dates this week for further events. Well done to all the above.

Thanks to all the parents for bringing the children and supporting them.

In the high jump under 15 despite very little practice Meave O’ Leary jumped very well.
