We had a busy day at the Dublin relays in the indoor arena on Saturday.First off for us were our two very excited under 12 girls teams in their heats, followed by our under 14/16
And 18 girls. All the girls ran their best in very competitive races. The under 18 team qualified for the final and were unlucky to just miss out on a bronze medal . Great racing experience for all the girls.
The uneven age groups were held in the afternoon session. Our under 13 girls and boys had good runs in their heats, our under 15 and 17 A teams qualified for their finals and both teams were well deserved bronze medal winners in their finals. Our second teams in both age groups also ran very well.
Well done to everyone, especially Martha , Goda and Aimee who each ran 4 races yesterday. To all the athletes who competed to ensure everyone got a race.
Thank you to the parents who supported during the day and to Hilary, Sarah, Catherine, Emer and Loretta who did the warm ups and round ups on the day!
