We had a good turnout at the NIA last night for the last competition of 2024. Aoife Marron continues to improve in the pole vault with a 10cm pb last night. Niamh Bergin had a very good opener in her 400m , Goda ran well in her 800 in her first visit to a track this winter. Martha knocked a big chunk off her time since last time out in her 60m.
We had 4 relay teams in action on the night . Great experience for all the teams . Under 12 Rion, Ellen, Natalia and Aoife.
Our under 13/14 teams were very competitive , Amelia, Robin, lauren and Freya ( u 13), Maggie, Jessica, Pearl and Maisy under 14.
We ran two teams in the under 15/16 race, Megan, Erin , Aoibhinn and Ella on one team, Alice, Martha, Aimee and Goda on other team. Everyone ran their best and picked up some hints for future competitions. Well done to all and thank you to the parents for the support.

Sat 9th Dec Dunboyne track meet 9.45 . All athletes born 2011 and older. Will be sorting relay teams for NIA on Wednesday night.

Sun 10th Dec 10am group meet at HITW. No training today for younger athletes.

Tue 11th Dec Grangegorman at 7 for everyone.
Thur 13th Dec Grangegorman at 7 for everyone

Last Wednesday at the NIA live event in Abbottstown Aoife Marron did a new pb in the pole vault. Martha was 5th in her 60m. Today in Navan Goda competed for the Dublin team in the National under 17 cross country. She had a very good run and was a scorer on the winning inter county team. She also scored on the provincial team which came 3rd.
Cliodhna Ryan ran a very gutsy race finishing 20th in the under 19 race and scored on the Dublin team which finished 2nd in the inter county and the inter provincial.
Clare was 4th finisher on the DCH team which finished 2nd in the National novice in her first year competing with the senior group. Well done to everyone. Great end to the 2023 cross country season.

Sat 2nd Dec sprints group 9.45 Dunboyne track. Athletes born 2010 or older HITW meet at 10am.

Sun 3rd Dec HITW 10am long run older group. Everyone else HITW 11am

On Wednesday 13th Dec we have entered teams for 4x 200m relays at the NIA live In Abbottstown.

Currently we have one under 12 team. One under 13, one under 14 and two under 16 teams ( all girls). Panels will
be finalised this week.
