Schools cross country update

Busy week for secondary schools with the East, West and North Leinster schools held in mostly awful conditions in the Phoenix park.

East was first off and Louis McFeely was a very impressive 21st in the inter boys race.

West was on Thursday. Ben Treacy had a fine run in the minor boys coming 31st, 2nd in for st Declan’s team which came 5 th overall
Arron had his best run coming 12th in the senior boys with Isiah close behind in 15th place.

North was held this morning in good overhead conditions but some very mucky patches.
Lucas came 6th in the minor boys, Juliette came 6th in the junior girls, Freya had her best run in a while coming 14th in the inter girls, Jessica 15th, Caroline 18th, Saoirse 21st, Emma 25th . Despite decent packing the St Dominic’s team just missed team medals finishing 4th in a high standard team race. All the inter girls are in this age group again next year.
Abigail had a solid run in the senior girls finishing 18th overall.
Well done to all, everyone did their best on the day.
