Sat 10th Dunboyne track 9.30. Texts have been sent to younger athletes who need to be there for relay practice plus Sprints group and older middle distance not competing in Dublins this weekend.

Sun 11th HITW at 11 everyone not competing in the Dublins. We will be adding to our community games team during the week. If anyone wants to be included we need to see you! Dublin community games athletics are on the 25th June in Tallaght.

Tue 13th HITW at 10.30 anyone who’s free. Everyone else HITW at 7.

Wed 14th relays in Lucan girls under 12/14/16. Teams will be finalised tomorrow in Dunboyne .

Thur 15th 10.30 HITW anyone who’s free. Everyone else 7 pm at HITW. We will sort under 13/15/17 girls relay teams tonight for competition on 16th June in Lucan.

Club athletes had a great day in Tullamore today at the all Ireland school’s championship. Highlight of the day was the fantastic win by St Dominic’s college girls in the junior sprint relay with Martha, Erin and Aimee on the winning team. Classy baton changes and great team work combined with a heroic last leg from Aimee bagged the gold medal by a whisker!

In the senior relay our club team represented St Dominic’s with Clare, Goda, Lily and Cliodhna bagging a surprise 3rd place (went in ranked 4th), great running from 4 middle distance girls to place 3rd in a 4x 300 m race.

Emotional day for Clare as it was her last outing in a St Dominic’s vest and a nice ending of her schools athletic career which will set her up in good form for the Leaving cert exams next week.

Goda ran in the mile under 16 earlier in the day and finished 5th and like all the team was delighted with her bronze relay medal as she faces into junior cert exams next week. Well done girls. We are so proud of you all. Thank you to all the Mams and Dads who brought the teams to Tullamore and supported them today.

Sat 3rd June Dunboyne track 9.30 everyone. No organised training in the Phoenix park on Sunday.Best of luck to Goda in the mile under 16, Aimee , Erin and Martha in the junior relay, Clare, Lily, Goda and Cliodhna in the senior relay at the all Ireland schools in Tullamore on 3rd of June.

Older athletes who are free. Everyone else 7 pm at the HITW.

Wed 7th June Sprints group and those who get a text from the coaches, NIA meet at 7.15 pm. This will be athletes who are competing in field events at the Dublin championships next weekend and those who have already qualified for Nationals.
