Sat 19th Dec middle distance group born 2008 and older plus sprints group meet at 12noon in Santry park.
Sun 20th Dec HITW 11 am everyone. This will be the last formal training session for athletes born 2009 and younger until Sunday 3rd January. On St stephens day anyone who’s free will meet for a jog walk over to the Furry glen to feed the ducks. Bring the dog and food for the ducks. Meet at Hole in the wall at 10.30.
Tue 22nd Dec athletes born 2008 and older meet at HITW at 3pm.
Thur 24th Dec Athletes born 2008 and older meet at HITW at 10.30.
Sprints group will decide on Sunday on plans for the week.

Tue 15th Dec Bogies at 4 for anyone who’s free. Everyone else Grangegorman at 7.

Just letting you know that we have track booking in Santry on Sat morning. Sprints group and middle distance group born 2008 and older . Will assemble in Santry park at 9.30. If you need to change spikes you have two evenings to do it!!
No spectators allowed in Santry during training and social distancing must be adhered to.

Together with the Juvenile and Competition Committees Athletics Ireland are pleased to announce the following dates for the 2020/2021 Cross Country season. Competitions will be subject to strict protocol and limited numbers will be competing as per Government Guidelines. Age groups will be based on 2020 ages and all athletes must be registered members with AAI for 2021.

As per government guidelines there will be a limit on the numbers permitted to participant. As a result, the following will apply.
National Senior Cross-Country Championships:
Plus First 6 individuals from Regional Championships (excluding those already qualified on club teams)
Plus 2019 club and individual winners
Plus up to 23 places available to elite/HP/U23 athletes based on European Cross Championship participation over the last 3 years
If there are remaining places available, they will be allocated on the discretion of the National Endurance Coordinator.
National U19/U20 Championships
National Juvenile Individual and Inter-Provincial Championships
First 8 Provincial finishers to score, 15 medals for Provincial team
National Juvenile Inter-Club Championships
All competition dates and conditions are subject to change in line with Government guidelines. Venues to be confirmed. The committees and AAI are also looking at hosting further competitions and will release dates in due course
