Congrats to Edel who got a brilliant silver at the Nationals Masters Champs over the weekend – great running!!

Well done to Sean Donoghue on a fantastic win in the 1500m at the National juniors in Santry this evening. This adds the outdoor junior title to the indoor 1500 he won in February. Conditions in Santry weren’t pretty but with the result being decided over two races there was no time for messing around. The first race was nippy enough so the athletes in Sean’s race knew they had to run fast.
Sean didn’t put a foot wrong from the start and was never out of the top three throughout. Despite strong pressure coming on the last lap he just put the foot down and cruised away for a very decisive victory. Great running! Well done!

This weekend Sat/ Sun older athletes (2007 and older )meet up in small groups among yourselves and run for 30/40mins.

Tue Sept 8th Bogies at 4 for anyone who’s free. After school training in Dominic’s starts on Tuesday.

Tue evening at 7 pm meet at Hole in the wall everyone. Go inside the park and keep away from the path.

Thur 10th Sept meet at 7pm Hole in the wall everyone.

A big congrats to Aoife Corr who got a brilliant silver in the National U23 Championships on the weekend – a great achievement in what has been a very challenging season!
