Tue 28th May Hole in the wall 10.30 anyone who’s free.
Everyone else Hole in the wall at 7pm. We will do trials for under 8/10/12 for the Dublin community games on Tuesday night.

News update

This weekend Alison Burke and Caoimhe Lynam are off to Belfast to compete for the Irish Universities team in a competition against the Scottish Universities. Catherine Mc Manus is off to Tampere in Finland to compete as a guest for St Abbans ac in the European clubs championships. Pierre and Cliona Murphy are competing in Ordegan in Belgium on Saturday. Dublin community games

The Dublin community games track and field events will take place in Santry 8th and 9th of June. We need 4 under 8 girls for sprints, 4 under 8 boys sprints, we have spots for under 10 boys and girls sprints, under 12 boys sprints and middle distance.
We are also looking for 2 under 12 boys and 2 under 14 girls for long puck. Anyone who has connections in the local GAA club might know someone. Girls will be on Sat and boys on Sunday.

Everyone who has trophies from last year please get them engraved and leave into community games office on Brunswick street.

Yesterday at the IMC meeting in Irishtown Edel Monaghan ran well in her 1500m race. Today we had Jodie McCann racing over 3000m in the Loughborough international where she achieved the European junior qualifying time. Well done Jodie!In Belfast Catherine McManus ran her first 400m of the season coming 2nd, Daire Finn won his 3000m steeplechase and Sean Donoghue had a very good run in the 1500m finishing 3rd (9 secs faster than he ran yesterday in the leinster schools).

Results update

Today in Santry Emily Corcoran came 2nd in the senior girls high jump in the leinster schools championship’s in a seasons best of 1m 66cm. Not bad after a night on the town celebrating her 6th year graduation from St Dominics and a 10am start time for her competition!!! Sean Donoghue opened his track season with a 2nd place in the inter 1500. Gillian Murphy had a busy day competing well in the inter 800 and 1500 in very competitive races.

On Wednesday last Sam Whelan had a very good run in the 200m at the graded in Tallaght. Aloife ni Bhroin won 1500m races with Aislinn Moorehouse and Edel also running well. Emily Corcoran won the high jump. Well done to all.
