Results update

We had 4 athletes in action at Day 1 of the Dublin indoor championships today in Abbottstown . The 200m races were first on the programme. Alice made the final of her 200m, Niamh and Martha missed out on this occasion.
Completing the morning session were the hurdles under 13 and 14. Rion was unlucky last year when she hit a hurdle while in the lead in her final but made no mistake this year , comfortably winning her heat and then won her final in fine style. Her first Dublin track title. Well done Rion.

Maisy had a good run in her heat of the hurdles, Martha was 2nd in her hurdles heat and came back very well in the final finishing 3rd.
Alice had a good day at the long jump
Coming 2nd . Narrowly missed out on a pb jump earlier in the competition when she had a tiny break but something to work on for national. Well done to all and thank you to Aoife who helped out on the check in desk for the day.

Well done to the hardy bunch who battled the wind and rain in the park this morning.
