National Senior update

On Saturday Daire Finn got his first taste of senior racing in his heat of the 800m. After a lot of chopping and bumping he did very well to stay at the races and ran a time just outside his personal best and just missed out on a place in the final. Emily Corcoran hit 1m60cm again but felt her run up was off in the high jump. Catherine McManus qualified for the 200m final. On Sunday Catherine ran in the final of the sprint hurdles and came 2nd. Later on she finished 4th in the 200m. In the 1500m Clare Brennan, Niamh Donnelly and Alison Armstrong all ran personal bests indoors and Alisons time was a personal best overall. Muireann McGinley did her first senior pole vault and jumped well.
A big thank you to the children who did the baskets for the weekend. You did a great job.
