Community Games

Well, what a busy weekend we had in Santry! We got it all weather wise, Summer on Saturday and Winter on Sunday but nothing stopped our athletes and their friends from competing in anything they were asked to do to help our points score for the overall trophy. Particular thanks to those who came from matches, missed matches and missed parties for the cause.☺Our standout performers were little Aimee Ryan who stormed down the track winning her heat, semi final and final of the under 8 girls 80m. Lola Mundow-Polly and Jana Gleeson were equally impressive in the hurdles under 10 heats and semi finals with Lola winning the final and Jana came 4th. Our under 14 girls relay team gold medalists were Antonia, Aontoinette, Aoibh and Ashley, the  ‘A’ team. Emily Corcoran won the high jump under 16 and Julianne had a great win in the under 13 walk. Oisin Gavin had a great weekend winning his heat, semi and finishing a fantastic 2nd in the 200m under 10. James, Keelin Collins, Aoibh, Kacey, Dylan, Keelin Gogarty, Chloe and many others (listed below helped our points score).
