Alison Armstrong, Alex Corr and Sara Jane Brennan won their steeplechase and walks races to finish off the day.

On Sunday Alison Burke was off again winning the 250m hurdles and coming 2nd in her 100m final. Chloe Corcoran got another 2nd this time in the 100m. Emily Corcoran won the high jump under 15. Results from Geneva

Catherine McManus had a busy Saturday in Geneva. Her first race was the relay competition where the Irish team finished 3rd. Very shortly afterwards she ran a 100m race finishing in a decent enough time into a strong wind.. She then competed in the first of two hurdles races and she was very pleased to improve her seasons best in both. Steffi Creanor also ran in the relay and then ran in the 200m where she was unfortunately disqualified for running outside her lane. Hard luck.

Secondary school athletes

Any secondary school athletes who are free and would like to train at 12noon Tuesday meet at hole in the wall at 12 noon. Exam athletes might like a study break around that time. Please circulate😊
