Competition will be held on the astro pitch in Naomh Mearnog GAA pitches in Portmarnock. Turn left directly opposite Portmarnock Leisure Center. Races start at 10.30. Be there for 9.45. Lifts to be organised on Saturday night.

Will be run off in an hour and is ideal competition for beginner and improver athletes.

Sun 27th April All the younger athletes born 2000 and younger are going to Portmarnock for a competition similar to the one we did in Santry a few weeks ago. Details will be on the site tomorrow so no smallie training on Sunday. All older athletes and Sprinters meet at Hole in the Wall at 11 as usual.
All Samsung helpers meet at Easons in O connell st at 7pm sharp on Sunday night.

This Sunday night is Samsung night! We have been asked to help at the Baggage and the medals. Bus fare and coffee supplied. Main gang are meeting at 7pm at Easons in O Connell st and anyone whos late text Mary and she will give directions to get to us. All the action will be down around the National College area for us this year.

Anyone who is available please meet at the Hole in the Wall at 8.30. If you don’t make the 8.30 at the Hole in the Wall come for 9 and we will bring you over to the start/finish area. We are doing registration and the baggage. The race starts at 10 and if you have to leave after the start that’s fine. The number of participants is confined to 2000.
Catherine Mc Manus started Day 2 of the inter-varsities with a fine 2nd place in the 100m behind Phil Healy of UCC. Next up we had Steffi Creaner in a tough 200m final where she came 3rd behind Sara Lavin and Phil Healy. Catherine and Steffi later ran for DCU in the final of the 4 x 100m relay which they won in a new record university record time! Niamh Donnelly followed up on her fantastic 1500m silver medal with a very impressive leg of the 4 x 400m relay for Trinity College.
