First in to action yesterday was Aoife in the pole vault where she equalled her pb and edged ever closer to a new one. Alice was next up in the triple jump where she finished 5th in the final. Goda came 5th in her inter 1500m final and Cliodhna came 7th in her senior final in her last ever schools race.
Martha led off the inter Dominic’s relay team with a great first leg, Aimee had a storming 3rd leg on the bend and got the team back into the lead which the held till the last stride when the Kilkenny team just managed to pip them . Great race ! Will have another go at them in Tullamore at the all Irelands!

Best of luck to Alice in the triple jump, Goda and Cliodhna in the 1500m, Martha and Aimee in the relay at day 1 of the Leinster schools in Santry tomorrow.

Beautiful warm sunshine greeted us in Tallaght this morning for league 2. Well done to all the athletes who represented the club and to the parents who brought them and supported. We had a few outstanding results today with Martha winning her 100m in a very tight finish, Alice finished 3rd in her long jump, Pearl was a very good 3rd in her 800 under 14, Max was a very happy boy in 2nd place in his shot with a new pb!
Good performances too from Ellen in her sprint, Maggie, Amelia and Emma in the 800s, Dan, Eoin and Aisling .
Good to see that consistent training does pay off.

Sat 11th May league 2 in Tallaght. Program on earlier post. Revolut 3 euro to Mary or 3 euro cash . No need to queue , we will have the stickers at the club flag.

Dunboyne track at 9.30 for the older athletes not competing in Tallaght.

Sun 12th May training at 11am everyone meet at the Hole in the wall.
Straight after training we will be going into the Hole in the wall for finger food and we will present the outstanding league trophies.
Trophies are outstanding to Jessica, Freya Dillon, Amelia, Juliette, Maggie, Erin, Aoibhinn, Cliodhna, Lily, Goda, Clare, Christopher. Any trophies not given out on Sunday will be given out during the week at training.

Please note there are no long races for U10/11/12/13’s. 

Sat 4th May Dunboyne track 9.30 everyone. No formal club training on Sunday. Older groups can organise in Dunboyne on Sat for meet up on Sunday.

Wed 8th May high jump in the school hall 6 pm

Thur 9th May Hole in the wall
7pm everyone.
