Results update

We had club athletes representing their secondary schools at the All Ireland schools cross country today over a demanding course in Tymon Park.First off was the minor girls race with Jessica , Pearl, Saoirse, Emma and Maisy representing st Dominic’s. Caroline had to unfortunately pull out due to illness. In a very competitive race the girls performed above expectation and were an agonising 8 places off a team medal finishing 5 th. Hard luck! The girls gave it their all and should be proud of themselves.
In the intermediate race we had Goda, Erin and Aoibhinn representing St Dominic’s. Due to a niggle Erin unfortunately couldnt really train since the Leinsters and realistically a team medal would have been a big ask. All three did their best on the day finishing 6th team overall. Ava was 3rd finisher for Mount Sackville team which came 4th.
All Ireland schools athletics medals are always very hard to win!
Thank you to all the parents who brought the girls to Tymon and supported them all on the day. We will be back!
