We had two teams in action at the National under age cross country relays today in Abbottstown. Our under 13 team of Sian, Cara, Louise and Ellie ran very well and finished 18 out of 32 teams. Only Cara had competed at this event before so great experience for all the girls. Our under 15 team of Freya, Emma, Amelia and Juliette came 12th out of 15 teams in a very high standard race. Less than a minute separated the top 8 teams with big changes to places over the last lap. Very exciting race to watch. Well done to both teams and thank you to all who supported.

Well done to all who competed at the event age Dublin cross country in the Phoenix Park yesterday. Much longer distances than the leagues and a much tougher test for all.
Our star performer on the day was Lucas with a superb 2nd place in the Boys under 14 race , great run in his first cross country season with the club.
Juliette continued her fine season with 10 th place in the girls under 14 race , her first time inside the top 12. Well done to
Hannah, Luca, Saoirse , Caroline, Freya and lama who all finished in the top
20 in their races.
Also to all the under 13 and 17 girls who all ran up an age group and will have gained good experience for their own age group championship in November. Thank you to all the parents who brought their children and supported on the day.
