Results update
Well done to our women’s relay teams on a great turnout at the National road relays in Raheny on Sunday. Raheny women won in fine style with our A team of Edel Monaghan, Jodie and Nadia in 2nd place. Our B team of Sinead Cronin, Ellen and Aoife ni Bhroin finished 8th. Our C team of Aoife Corr, Noelle (first outing for the club) and Aoife Donaghy finished 12th.We also had Susie McManus on her marathon debut yesterday finishing the London marathon in 3 hours 19 mins. Well done to everyone. Keep up the good work!!

Sat 2nd Oct older group plus sprints group meet at 10 at HITW
Sun 3rd Oct Hole in the wall 11am everyone
Best of luck to the senior women’s teams competing in the National road relays in Raheny today.
Tue 5th Oct Bogies at 4 for anyone who’s free. Everyone else 7 pm in Grangegorman.
Thur 7th Oct HITW 5pm for older middle distance. Everyone else Grangegorman at 7pm.
Dates for younger athletes. Next competition for EVERYONE is on Sunday 10th Oct in Tymon park. Timetable and maps will up on website during the week. The following Sunday we will be heading for Ballycoolin for the Dublin Even age cross country championship. Not everyone will be competing in this event. The uneven age group will be held later on.
Intervarsity cross country
The inter varsity cross country championships were held in DCU grounds on Sunday. Pierre Murchan had a solid run taking 2nd place in the men’s race and led NUIG to first place in the team event. In the women’s race Cliona Murphy led the Trinity College team to first place finishing in a fine 5th place overall. Great running by both athletes.
Susie takes on the London Marathon
5 days to go! DCHer Susie is training to complete her first ever marathon in London on October 3rd.
