Cross country is back!!!

We headed to the ‘country’ this morning for our first cross country races in two years!! So good to see all our first timers and experienced young athletes getting a chance to compete on a course that none of us had been to before.

Thank you to all the parents who brought their children out today and to all our supporters. Well done to all of our athletes and we will have full results available in a few days. Next races Sunday after next . Venue not confirmed yet.

Training/competition this week

Sat 25th Sept HITW 10am sprints group and older middle distance group.

Sun 26th Sept information re races today on earlier post. Everyone is encouraged to compete , don’t worry if names not on earlier post.Open to all and no pre entry. Just follow the map on earlier post and advice re times to leave home at. Best of luck to everyone.

Sprints group 11am at HITW

Tue 28th Sept Bogies at 4 for anyone who’s free. Everyone else 7 pm at Grangegorman.

Thur 30th Sept 5pm at HITW for older middle distance group. Everyone else Grangegorman at 7pm.

Races next Sunday in Ballyboughal.

Races start at 11am with under 9 girls and boys. Our under 9s are Ellie, Cara, Naithi, Evie, Sam and Iarflaith.

Under 10s are Ellen, Canice, Edward, Kasiana, Aoife, Juliette, Alexandria, Rion, Greta, Oscar and Hector.

Under 11 are Cillian, Robyn, Freya, Saoirse, Eoin, Imogen, Juliette, Amelia, Robin, Adam

The above 3 age groups need to be on the road at 9.30 to allow time to get parking, collect stickers and get a walk around the course. Look out for our Blue club flag and head for that. Don’t forget 3 euro for sticker and 2 euro for the car park.

Under 12(born 2010), under 13 (born 2008),need to be on the road at 10.

Under 14(born 2008), under 15 (born 2007), be on road at 10.30.

Under 16 and older be on road at 11am. If anyone has club singlets at home that are too small please bring them with you on Sunday . Thank you.
