Well done to Jodie McCann on her fine win in the National indoor 1500m under 23 in Athlone.

Well done to Sean Donoghue on winning the National indoor junior 1500m today in Athlone.

Sat 25th Jan National junior/ under 23 in Athlone. Best of luck to Celine, Dora, Sean, Jodie and Edel in the 1500m races. Alison in the hurdles and Emily in the high jump.

Training on Sat meet at 10.30 at the Hole in the wall. Athletes born 2007 and older.

Sun 26th Jan. Training at 11 at the Hole in the wall everyone.

Sun 26th Jan. Best of luck to our womens team at the final of the indoor league in Athlone. We will have a group of our older athletes competing in the guest events.

Tue 28th Jan Bogies at 4 for anyone who’s free. Everyone else Grangegorman at 7.

Thur 30th Jan National indoor arena meeting at 7.15 for 7.30 start.

On Thursday we had a big club group competing in the Phoenix Park at the schools cross country qualifiers for the Leinster schools. Best result of the day was the impressive 2nd place by Celine in the senior girls race leading her St Dominics team of Dora, Sara and Gillian to first place.

In the minor girls race Shona, lily, Niamh and Eva all ran really well in a very competitive race with their team losing out on 3rd place by only 2 points.

Oisin had a great run in the minor boys coming 4th, Conor Maleady ran really well helping his st Declans team to 2nd place.

Others who qualified for Leinsters were Cliodhna Ryan in the junior girls, Joe Fogarty and Christopher Mcloughlin in the inter boys, Sean Donoghue in the senior boys.

Just missing out were Clare o Connor, Aisling Keenan, Jana Moheiden and Conor Murphy.
Well done to all. Great to see so many out in the lovely sunshine. Thanks to all who supported on the day.

Entries for individual events for Dublin indoors will be done this week. Hilary will be chatting to the 2009 and younger athletes at training tomorrow (Sunday) and Tuesday night .
