Hopefully the showers and washing machines have survived the muck from Santry today!
Our hardy under 11’s Cara , Ellie and Darla were first off for the club this morning . All three ran well and finished their 1500m in good spirits despite the horrible under foot conditions.

Our under 13 team of Amelia 10th, Freya, Juliette (great run up an age group),Robin(first race in a year), Lauren and Emma all ran very well and were unlucky to just miss out on a team medal.

Our under 15 team were our standout performers on the day coming 2nd team overall, led in with a great 12th place by Jessica, chased closely by Megan, Caroline, Saoirse, Abigail and Freya. Great running by the all the under 14’s who moved up an age group today. You were awesome girls!
Hugh was our Lone ranger in the boys race and he finished strongly over the 3500m.

Our under 17 girls team finished in 3rd place by just one point! Goda led the team with a very good run in 7th place, backed up by Erin, Aoibhinn, Nina and Lily. Four of the team were up an age group today and got a good workout in preparation for the under 16 national in two weeks!
Cliodhna ran really well over 5k in the under 19 race finishing in a fine 4th place.
Well done to everyone today! You did yourselves and your club proud.

Great news from the Leinster novice in Gowran today Conor Murphy and Christopher were on the scoring team for our senior club Dublin City Harriers which came 2nd team behind Mullingar Harriers. Both lads have slogged with us for over 10 years and now that they have graduated to the senior group are finally getting rewarded for all their hard work.

Some people haven’t got the patience or the stamina for the long haul but the lads have stuck at it through good and bad days. Finally coming through and scoring on a team. Well done lads , proud of you .
