Leinster schools cross country update
What a day that was in Santry!! Muck, rain and gales. The whole lot!! It was scary at times. Minor girls were first into action with Aimee Ryan first of our gang to finish followed closely by Erin, next in was Abigail and then Aoibhinn. Good running in those conditions. Goda finished 10th in a high quality junior girls race and Nina was on the winning team from Castleknock community college. Great stuff Nina!
The senior girls was shortened as conditions were very bad and a big well done to St Dominic’s team of Cliodhna, Clare and Aisling who were well deserved 3rd team medal winners. Christopher was in the senior boys race which was cut by one lap and was going very well until he slipped and had a heavy fall. He bravely got back into the race and finished strongly.
Well done everyone and thanks to Audrey who brought some of the girls out and back.
