A big thank you to all who helped to make the 10k in the park a huge success this morning👏🏻 Our areas were the water station , baggage , registration and the stewards who managed the course. You all did a great job. Well done everyone!!
Training/competition this week
Sat 13th Apr Dunboyne track 9.30 everyone. No training tomorrow Sunday due to Great irl Run in the Phoenix Park.
Sun 14th Apr great Irl
Run in the Phoenix Park. Baggage/Water station/ Medal crew meet at the HiTW at 8.30. All the spare helpers meet at registration tent on Furze road at 9am.
Tue 16th Apr Bogies cross country scheduled today but weather will
decide! Park inspection due on
Monday to see if we get the go ahead.
Otherwise training will be at 7pm at HiTW for everyone.
Wed 17th Apr high jump in the navan rd school hall 6pm

Change to training tonight
Due to the heavy rain yesterday we have changed training tonight to the indoor arena. Meet at 7.20 for warmUp. Revolut 3 euro or cash on the night. Please circulate.
National indoor update
This weekend Nationals in Athlone wrapped up the indoor season for 2024. At the relay championships two weeks ago our under 17 team of Martha, Alice, Aimee and Goda improved on their Dublin time but missed out on a final place. The under 15 team of Pearl, Maggie, Maisy and Jessica ran well but also didn’t make the top six for a final place .
Our best individual performance came from Martha in the under 16 60m flat and 60m hurdles. Martha made the final in both races and did pb’s in the heats of both races. She was unfortunate to stumble on landing from the last hurdle in the final which surely cost her another personal best.
Niamh and Aimee competed in the 200 and 400 under 18 and 17, Aoife was in the pole vault under 17, Alice did the long jump and got a pb in the triple jump under 16. Lily ran in the 800 under 19 and Max got a pb in the shot under 13.
Everyone did their best on the day and that’s all you can do. Thank you to the parents who did the driving and for the support. Onwards and upwards to the outdoor season.
