Results update

Last Wednesday at the NIA live event in Abbottstown Aoife Marron did a new pb in the pole vault. Martha was 5th in her 60m. Today in Navan Goda competed for the Dublin team in the National under 17 cross country. She had a very good run and was a scorer on the winning inter county team. She also scored on the provincial team which came 3rd.
Cliodhna Ryan ran a very gutsy race finishing 20th in the under 19 race and scored on the Dublin team which finished 2nd in the inter county and the inter provincial.
Clare was 4th finisher on the DCH team which finished 2nd in the National novice in her first year competing with the senior group. Well done to everyone. Great end to the 2023 cross country season.

Training this week

Sat 2nd Dec sprints group 9.45 Dunboyne track. Athletes born 2010 or older HITW meet at 10am.

Sun 3rd Dec HITW 10am long run older group. Everyone else HITW 11am

Best of luck to Goda and Cliodhna at the under 17/19 all irelands in Navan.

On Wednesday 13th Dec we have entered teams for 4x 200m relays at the NIA live In Abbottstown.

Currently we have one under 12 team. One under 13, one under 14 and two under 16 teams ( all girls). Panels will
be finalised this week.

Results update

Well done to all the athletes who represented the club in Tymon Park on Sunday. The new course layout was a welcome addition on the day. Our top performers were Juliette under 12 5th, Amelia under 13 5th, Maggie 5th under 14, Megan under 15, Erin and Aoibhinn under 16 1st and 2nd, Lily under 17, Cliodhna 1st under 19.

Rachel ran well under 9 despite a fall early in the race, Darla ran a bit too hard at her start under 10 but managed to finish well, Evie, Aislinn and Ellie enjoyed the new course under 11. Ellen and Rion were inspired by Juliette in 5th and weren’t far behind her. Sean had his first outing this season in the boys race under 12.
Our under 13 crew chased Amelia closely with Freya, Lauren, Lelia, Emma, James in his first outing ran well.
Maggie led the 14 gang with Pearl , Saoirse R, Freya, Maisy all close behind . Daire ran a good race in the boys under 14 , with Hugh and Dan running well in the boys under 15. Megan and Ella were strong in the under 15 girls and Ava ran under 16 with Erin and Aoibhinn very impressive up front .
