Info for Dublin Juvenile Indoor Championships 2023 Day 1
Athletes MUST check-in and collect their number before the closing time for their event. If doing more than 1 event on the day, athletes should inform the check-in officials.
Check in will close at the time stated, in order for heats to be compiled and the qualification for finals determined, if required.
Numbers should be kept for all subsequent events.
Assembly/call room
TRACK– Athletes should report no later than 15 minutes before the start.
FIELD – athletes can go directly to the event area no later 15 minutes in advance of the start time.
Only athletes and coaches with wrist bands are permitted in the warm up area.
Coach wristbands will be issued based on a ration of 1:10 competitors per day.
PARKING
PLEASE PARK IN DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY. NO PARKING ON GRASS AREAS, KERBS OR ROADWAYS LEADING TO THE ARENA.
ENTRY FEE: 5 Euro for Adults, a different coloured wrist band will be issued for each day and should be secured on the wrist.

Secondary schools cross country
Well done to all the club members who represented their schools this week on the Phoenix Park.
In the minor girls races Megan o Leary came 9th in the East Leinsters with Ella kilmartin-Fluskey finishing 19th. Freya o Connor was 19th in the North Leinster minor race and Hugh o Connor was 26th in the west Leinster minors.
In the junior races Aoibhinn mc Auley was 52nd in the east Leinster and her school won the team event. Aimee Corcoran was 19th in the West, Erin Byrne was 16th, Aoibhinn was 17th, Abigail Delaney 19th, Aimee Ryan 20th and Martha 59. The St Dominic’s
Junior team were 3rd.
In the senior races Goda finished 3rd. Cliodhna 4th, Clare 6th and Ash 14th was a clear team win for st Dominic’s.
Christopher was our Lone Ranger in the lads race finishing a fine 10th. Well done to all.

Training this week
Sat 28th Jan Dunboyne track 10am sprints group and older middle distance group who didn’t race today.
Sun 29th Jan National indoor arena 10.15 assembly for warm up. All age groups.
We will do our relay trials and practice races for the younger athletes.
Tue 31st Jan National indoor arena 7.15 assembly for athletes born 2010 and younger and sprints group. Older athletes assemble at 7.45 for warm up.
Thur 2nd Feb 5pm group meet at HITW. Everything else meet at 7pm
