On Sunday we had four athletes at the National indoor under 23/Junior championships in Athlone last weekend. Pierre Murchan was our medal winner coming 3rd in the junior 1500 running a very good race despite a slow first 800m. Cliona, Alison and Clare were all running their first indoors of the season should be encouraged by their races on Saturday. Well done to all.
This weekend we head to Athlone for the indoor womens league final and guest races. Athletes in action will be Catherine, Niamh, Aoife Ni bhroin, Aoife Corr, Alison Burke, Caoimhe Lynam, Muireann Mc Ginley, Clare Brennan, Finn Burke Power, Evan McMillan, Cliona Murphy. Best of luck to everyone.
