St Dominics Girls were very successful at the Lucan schools cross country this morning. Kate Harrold had a very nice win in the minor girls race with Kacey Tully powering down the finishing straight into 2nd place and Alex Corr very impressive in 4th place. Keelin Gogarty wasnt far behind. In the junior girls race Clare Murphy and Sarah Byrne were very strong finishing 2nd and 3rd and Cliodhna Donaghy had a great race finishing 4th. Laura Maleady continues to improve with every outing.
Dora Medgyesy ran away with the inter girls race with Emily Murphy 3rd, Gabriella Ezwena 4th and Celine Gavin a battling 7th. Sara Jane Darcy was our next finisher. Well done to everyone!
Please note that we will have training for secondary school middle distance athletes at 10.30 Thursday morning meeting at the Hole in the Wall. Then you will have the rest of the day to catch up on schoolwork!
Note for your diary
All Ireland schools cross country will be held in an Ulster venue on Sat 4th March 2017. We hope to have a big gang from the club in action on that day.
