Cliona went on to run the 3k and finished a good 2nd. On the same night in Santry Joe Fogarty won the under 15 boys 1500m in the Dublin championship and Keelin Gogarty came 6th in the girls race. Caolan Collins came 3rd in the girls under 14 and Gillian Murphy won the 1500m under 16 girls.
At the weekend Clare Murphy got a late call up to run the 300m at the Tailteann Games in Santry and although its a bit short for her she ran very well. Sean Donoghue won his 3000m very impressively and bagged yet another international cap , he will be heading to the schools international in Scotland in July. In Belfast on Sunday Clare, Niamh and Aoife all ran 1500m as guests in the National league round 1. Niamh and Clare ran up to form and Aoife was delighted to get a new pb. Catherine Mc Manus had her first outing over 400m hurdles and also competed in the 200m and 100m. Alison Burke had a good win in the 100m hurdles . Well done to all!
