Santry group tomorrow

Please wear hats or headbands to training. Bring spare clothes to change into for the journey home if it’s wet . Weather is very cold and lots of flu, colds etc doing the rounds so try your best to look after yourselves. Long sleeve under short sleeves etc. Bring spikes if possible.

Training/competition

Sat 14th Dec Santry 10.30 sprints group plus athletes born 2008 and older.

Sun 15th Dec Hole in the wall athletes born 2004 and older plus sprints group. No training for Hilary’s group on Sunday.
Under 11 girls are competing in Dunboyne at the Nationals . Best of luck to them and to Cliodhna in the under 15 race.
The national novice takes place after the juveniles on Sunday and best of luck to our Novice women’s team.

Please check out parking details and timetable for Sunday on Athletics Ireland website. Allow extra time for park n ride. Don’t be fooled by the short journey to Dunboyne. Under 11 race at 11.30 and should be on site at 10.30. Look for club flag.
Bring rain gear, hats and wellies. The course is very wet and wellies will keep the girls feet dry and warm. See you there on Sunday.

Jingle Bells update

Well done to Cliona Murphy who was overall winner of the women’s race in the Jingle Bells 5k on Saturday in a new personal best time .Pierre had a great run in the men’s race finishing 4th overall. Daniel Fortune came 17th in the junior boys race. Great running!!.

European cross country

On Sunday next the Irish cross country teams will compete at the European cross country in Lisbon. Best of luck to Jodie McCann in the junior womens race, Fian o Sullivan in the under 23 race, Nadia Power who competes in the relay.
