Results update from Navan

Our star performer today in Navan was Jodie McCann who ran away with the under 19 girls National title on a very testing Navan racecourse. Sean Donoghue was our next best finisher with a fine 5th in the under 17 boys race, coming through from 12th place over the last 800m. Sean also led the Dublin county team to 3rd in the inter county race.

Caolan Collins had a great run today going up an age group and came in 20th position. She was the third Dublin athlete in and the team finished 2nd in the inter county. Our team of Caolan, Clare O’Connor, Keelin Gogarty, Jana Mohedin and Cliodhna Ryan finished 6th and first Dublin club!! Well done girls. Joe Fogarty competed in the boys u15 race despite being unwell all week and just missed out on a place in the Dublin team.
Celine Gavin had a good run in her first ever national and will benefit from the experience.

Edel Monaghan was our only competitor in the Novice and she ran a solid race in 32nd place.
Today finishes off our 2018 season and we look forward to lots more competitions in 2019. Thanks to everyone who supported today.
