Happy girl!

A first national medal deserves another photo!

A delighted Caoimhe after winning her first National medal in the 400m at the National juniors in a sweltering Tullamore today. Caoimhe ran a pb in her heat coming 2nd and ran another pb in her final coming 3rd. Tough day but a good day!

News just in that Sean Donoghue has been selected as boys team captain for the irish schools athletics team. Sean will be travelling to Scotland next month to compete in the 3000m. This is a great honour for Sean, his school St Declans, his club and his family. This is a well deserved honour as Sean is a fine young man and a very well respected athlete.
