News just in that Joseph Fogarty finished 2nd in the final of the under 14 boys 800m in Abbott’stown this morning. Yesterday Aimee Ryan qualified for the semi final of the under 10 hurdles and this morning Jack O’Brien narrowly missed out on a place in the final of the javelin. Well done everyone.

The ironman triathlon take place tomorrow in Dublin. Over 2000 participants are expected to take part in this gruelling event. We have been asked to assist with the feeding station on the main road of the park from 9.45 to 4 .30. we have 3 teams organised but if anyone has an hour or two to spare tomorrow between 10and 4 .30 please drop over to the park to back up our teams and support the competitors as they complete their full marathon in the phoenix park. Feeding station will be situated near the furze road entrance on the main road road.Any help much appreciated.

Trinity crew are to meet at Trinity sports center at 10.15 sharp on Friday morning.

Today in Santry Emily Corcoran came 2nd in her high jump at the Celtic games. In Belgium this evening Pierre ran his first 5k of the year in a very good time of 14mins 21secs finishing 2nd. Great result!
