The closing track competitions for 2017 for club athletes take place this weekend. Best of luck to Emily Corcoran in the high jump at the Celtic international in Santry on Saturday at 3.30. Pierre runs in a 5k in Belgium on Saturday evening to round off his track season. Last Sunday Niamh Donnelly had a great run as a guest in the national league 1500m in Belfast running close to her pb, Clare Brennan was 3rd in the same race. Catherine McManus won the 400m to finish off her season. At the final graded meeting on Wednesday night in Tallaght Niamh and Edel got a reminder of how tough 3k on the track is as they finished off their 2017 track season. Well done to all and enjoy the well earned rest.

Well done to Emily Corcoran on her selection for the Irish development team for the Celtic international on the August bank holiday weekend in Santry. Emily has had a very busy indoor and outdoor season with lots of jumping competitions and has jumped an outdoor pb of 1m 66. Great to end the season with selection for the Irish team. Hopefully first of many Irish vests! Best of luck. Timetable for the event will be put up on later post.
