Training update
Sat 8th Apr Hole in the wall 10.30 everyone
Sun 9th Apr Great Ireland run in phoenix park. All those who have been allocated jobs you know what to do. We need free mam’s and dad’s to come to tented area on main road of the park for 9.15. This is our club fundraiser and we need all hands on deck! No club training today.
Tue 11th Apr training at 10am at National indoor arena in Abbott’stown. Bring water and 2 euro. Dermots group check.
Indoor news
Well done to our two silver medal winners Alison Burke and Daire Finn in Athlone today. Alison went in ranked 3rd to her final of the 60m hurdles but upped her game in the final and got a well deserved silver medal. Daire qualified well for his 800m final and after a long wait for his final held his form and finished his Indoor season with another National medal. Caoimhe Lynam ran a pb and made the final of the 200m under 19, Chloe Corcoran narrowly missed a spot in the final of her 200m and Clare Murphy ran her first indoor national in a very competitive 800m under 15. Well done to all.
