Last week we had three of our seniors in action at the Graded series in Santry. In the womens 1500m Clare Brennan returned to racing after injury to run 4min 50 secsand Sinead Cronin ran 5.02 in her race. In the mens race Ritchie Lombard ran 4.06.94 in his first 1500 in a long time. Well done to evrryone. The next races will be on Wed 6th May in Tallaght with the 800m starting at 19.50 and the 3000m races starting at 20.30. Full programme and pre entry details are on the Dublin athletics noard website. YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE TO COMPETE. Only athletes born in 1999 and older are eligible .

We have had a very busy week and successful in Santry. After Fridays competition we will have a report on the 4 days of the schools and the graded on Wednesday.
Portmarnock races on Sunday
Venue for the races in Portmarnock is the GAA pitches directly opposite Portmarnock sports and leisure center. Take the Malahide exit from the M50 . At the Hilton hotel take a left. At the next set of traffic lights turn right passing the entrance to Balgriffen cemetery. Take the next left and after you go under the railway bridge there is a signposted site road to the right. At the top of the hill Portmarnock sports and leisure club will be on your right but you take the next left through the housing estate. Distances are as follows and we start at 11am

This was a great event last year, very relaxed and an ideal event for all our younger athletes. We expect everyone to go to Portmarnock if possible except those who competed for their secondary schools this week in Santry. Competition will be over in an hour.
Samsung Night run
We have been asked to provide officials to do the medals and water station at the finish line for the Samsung Night race on Sunday night in town. We plan to meet at Easons in O;Connell st at 7pm. Race will be over at 10.20. Please let Mary know if you are free.
