Spring series -Skerries Beach

It was a very blustery spring day on Skerries beach for our second round of the Spring series.

.The athletes had to run through plenty of puddles which they all enjoyed! Thank you to Skerries Ac for the refreshments .

Some great performances on the day especially from Finn McAuley in the under 10 race who was just pipped on the line, Ben Casey had his best run also getting pipped on the line in the boys under 16 race. Alex Corr came from 30 metres behind the leader to win the under 12 girls race with Antoinette , Antonia , Keelin, Clare and Julianne all in the chasing pack.

Christopher McLoughlin had a great finish to his race,Jack Hoey and Faolain in the under 14 boys also ran very well. The girls u14 all ran well with Aobh Collins finishing first Celtic girl home followed by Lauramae , SarahJane and Cliona.

Well done to all.
