Ella Mae Cromie got the day off for the club with a very impressive win in the minor girls race. She stayed with the leading group until the last 500m and then pulled away strongly to record a very fine win. Ada Vasic is struggling with a knee problem and had to drop out. The girls from St Dominics finished 3rd with Chloe Corcoran running a fine race to help Mt Sackville win the team title. Oscar Moloney Daly ran a strong race in the inter boys race finishing in the thirties and Ben Quinn struggled a bit today after a weekend stomach upset.

The senior girls team race was won by Loreto Kilkenny with St Dominics 2nd. Cliona Murphy had a great race (having done her mock physics Leaving Cert in the morning!) finishing 6th with Ellen and Aoife providing great back-up finishing 14th and 15th. Alison Armstrong had her best run in a long time finishing 8th in the senior girls race for Coolmine CC. Pierre Murchan continued his comeback after illness with a solid run in the senior boys race finishing 8th in a very high quality field. Well done to all!
