The Irish schools cross country championships were held in Clongowes College grounds today. We had two teams in action representing St Dominics College. Both teams have been badly hit with coughs, viral infections and throat infections since Christmas so our hopes were not very high. However as usual our girls gave their all and both teams finished just 11 points off bronze medals. In the inter boys race Sean Donoghue continued his return to fitness following a six week lay off due to injury finishing 12th . Well done to all. We have had better days in these championships and we will battle on to the end of indoor season and look forward to the outdoors.
