Tue 23rd Oct Hole in the wall 7pm every one. Sprints group gym at 7. Bogies at 4pm for anyone who can make it.

Thur 25th Oct gym group 7 pm. Every one else meet at St John Bosco school at 7 pm.

Well done to everyone who competed for the club today in Abbottstown. Top 12 finishers and qualifiers for the all Ireland’s were Sean Donoghue an impressive 2nd in the under 18 boys race, Dora in the under 18 girls, Gillian in the under 16 girls, Caolan in the under 14 girls and Shona in the under 12 girls.
Our under 10 girls team of Martha, Alice, Saoirse and Abigail ran really well over a tough 1k course. Hugh had a great run finishing just out of the medals in 14th place in the boys under 10.

Shona won her first individual medal in 11th, but great running from Niamh, Lily, Yana and what a finish by Beth! Great running under 12 girls!

With Caolan safely through to nationals in the under 14 girls race we had much improved running from Cliodhna, Niamh, Aoife and Hazel. Joe was up an age group and despite getting an early stitch he got back into his racing and finished in the top 20.

In the Autunm cross country races which took place later in the afternoon in glorious sunshine Susie Mc Manus had a very steady run improving her time from last year by 90 seconds. Daire Finn also ran well in his junior mens race finishing a fine 6th. Well done everyone. Thank you to Teresa, Yvonne and Hilary for sorting out the numbers and to Dave who officiated. Thank you to all the parents who supported our young athletes today.

Best of luck to everyone racing tomorrow in Abbottstown. Our meeting point will be our club flag. Hilary will have the numbers.
