Emily Corcoran was off her best in her high jump competition today but will have Irish schools next weekend to look forward to. Cliona Murphy came 4th in the 1500 at the IUAA meeting yesterday. Graded 3 Irishtown

We had a group of our senior women running on Wednesday night at graded 3 Irishtown. Unusually for Irishtown it was calm an warm, perfect for racing. All our gang were in the 800m races. Ella Mae Cromie ran her first individual race in a long time and was a very impressive 3rd in the C race. Emily Murphy was equally impressive in the B race coming 2nd in a new personal best time. Ellen Byrne ran a personal best in her 800 with Aoife Corr not far behind. In the A race Niamh Donnelly was a very good 2nd, Clare Brennan near her pb in 3rd, Aoife ni Bhroin close to her pb and good running too from Cliona Murphy. Great running from all our athletes, great to see so many out racing.
