Dublin Intermediate Cross Country Champions! Tymon Park 30th Nov

2014-11-30 14.30.26

Our senior women’s team were in action today in the Dublin Intermediate Championships. This season this dedicated group of women have won the Dublin Novice, Leinster Novice and Leinster intermediate team titles. Hopes were high of another win today and the girls didn’t disappoint. Leading the team in 2nd place was Niamh Donnelly, with Clare Brennan continuing her comeback with a fine 3rd place, Aislinn Moorehouse and Sinead Cronin in 5th and 7th competed the scoring four for the team gold. Heather Lougheed was 14th, Aoife Ni Bhroin was 19th and Olwyn was 29th. This was a brilliant piece of team running by all the girls!

In Santry next Sunday this same team will compete in their biggest test yet with the National Novice taking place after the uneven age championships. We would like as many supporters as possible to stay after the younger children’s races to support our team! All of the team have been with us since they were under 12 and some even longer! Well done and best of luck next Sunday!
