Parkside Schools Cross Country report

We had lots of club members in action for their schools at the cross country races( today Wednesday 6th March) and lots of great runs by those members. In the under 10 girls race we had Keelan Gogarty winning in fine style from Alex Corr and Antonette Shodiya. In the girls under 11 race Gillian Murphy had a great win from her clubmate Katie Harrold. Likewise Sophie English had a runaway win in the under in the girls under 12 race. Anna Petit was a very impressive 3rd. Ella Mae Cromie was equally impressive winning the girls under 13 race beating most of the boys by finishing 4th overall! Emily Murphy had a great run finishing 3rd. Billy Brennan got the flag flying on the boys side coming 3rd in the under 13 race. We finished off a very successful day with Katie Hanna coming 3rd in the under 14 race. Well done to all and thank you to the members and friends of the club for their support in organising the event.

Great Ireland Run 2013 – We Need Your Help!

This years Great Ireland Run will take place on Sunday 14th April. Many of our younger athletes will be running in the Junior race. This is the day we need our parents and friends to come out in numbers to assist in the running of this event. This is our only fundraiser, We don’t sell tickets, pack bags or ask parents to organise fundraising. This is our one day when we need you all to row in and help out. So remember Sunday 14th April. Put it in your diary!
