National Junior/ Under 23 in Tullamore
On Sunday Steffi Creaner won the womens 200m in a new personal best time off 24.22. She also finished 2nd in the 100m in a personal best of 12.03secs. Catherine Conroy competed in the 400m but didnt progress to the final.
Donore Harriers Competition -Thursday night
All the smallies are expected to compete in the above competition. Programmes will be handed out at training during the week. This is a great opportunity for some of our new athletes to have a go at racing.
Dublin Relays
Under 14 relays in Tallaght
Well done to our super under 14 boys relay team on a great win in the Dublin relay championships on Friday night. the team of James , Jamie, Conall and Finn did us proud on a first relay gold for a boys team from the club. The girls under 14 finished 5th in their final but with two of the girls running up an age group a medal would have been a big ask. Well done to all.
Dublin Graded meeting Wed 20th June
The club had 4 athletes in action at the Dublin Graded meet for senior athletes on Wednesday 20th June. First off was Danny Byrne-Crowley in the 200m, a new event for Danny. He ran very well finishing 2nd in the C race. Clare Brennan returned to competition after a long battle with breathing issues and competed very well in the B 1500m finishing just behind Sinead Cronin. The both ran decent times comsidering that the first half was very slow. Ritchie Lombard also was getting back to competition after a long lay off and although a little race rusty he was happy with his result.

Sat 23rd June Tailteann Games in Santry, Good luck to Sarah Curran who competes for Leinster in the Schools interprovinciel event known as the Tailteann Games.
Sat 23rd June Hole in the Wall 10.30
Sun 24th June National Junior and Under 23 in Tullamore, Catherine Conroy goes in the 400m, Siobhan McGinley in the steeplechase and Steffi Creaner in the 100m and 200m. Due to a slight injury Catherine McManus had to withdraw from the competition.
Sun 24th June Hole in the Wall 11am -everyone
Tues 26th June Hole in the Wall 11am-big kids
Tues 26th June Hole in the Wall 7pm-everyone else
Thur 28th June hole in the Wall- Big kids
Thur 28th June NO EVENING TRAINING. There is a sports in Donore Harriers for all the smallies starting at 6.30. Be there at 6pm. Fee to participate is 3 euro per child. There are refreshments afterwards for all the children. We will try to get a copy of the programme on the website, if not we will hand out a copy at training on Tuesday night.
Sat 30th Irish Runner 5 mile road race in the Phoenix Park. We are needed for the water station for this race. will have details of location and time up on this site early next week.
Sat 30th June Competition in Irishtown for some of the big kids. Deatails will be advised during the week.
