Parkside schools Cross country

The cross country season was wrapped up today with the annual parkside schools event in the Bogies. We had a huge number of our younger athletes in action representing their schools.

Martha Fisher was 3rd and Abigail Delaney was 4th in the race for girls born in 2009. Aimee Ryan was an impressive winner of the 2008 girls race with Aimee Corcoran 4th

Shona Gogarty was equally impressive winning the race for 2007 girls with Lily Farrell having her best race ever coming 2nd and Beth o Malley a fine 6th.

Niamh o Connor finished 3rd in the girls 2006 race and Cliodhna Ryan was a very good 2nd in the last girls race for girls born in 2005/4.

In the boys 2009 age group Bruce o Brien ran a great race finishing 5th with George Harrold 6th. Finn Mc Auley came 6th in the 2006 boys race.

Well done to everyone. Thank you to all the parents and friends who helped out today. Lots of trophy winners from your childrens schools who are not in the running club. Please encourage any that you know to join up.
