National Seniors

Well done to our DCH senior crew who were out in force at the GloHealth National Senior Indoor Championships in Athlone.

Catherine McManus won the National senior indoor 60m hurdles today equalling her PB in the process. After a short rest Catherine went on to come 3rd in a very competitive 60m final also equalling her PB in that event. In the 200m Steffi Creaner came 2nd and ran her third sub 24 second time of the season. Great sprinting!

In the middle distance Niamh Donnelly ran an indoor best in the final of the 1500m, Aoife Ni Bhroin made the final of the 800m, Aislinn Moorehouse ran a seasons best in the heats of the 1500m and Clare Brennan narrowly missed out on a place in the 1500m final. Ritchie Lombard ran his first race in a long time today at the Nationals and is confident he can run even faster than today come the outdoor season. Great running everyone! On to outdoors!
